About the Journal
Information Management and Business Review (IMBR) is an open access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by AMH International. It publishes original, previously unpublished research on contemporary business, information management and closely related fields, with a particular interest in work that contributes to the theoretical foundations of business practice and the world economy.
Focus and scope
IMBR exists to circulate knowledge among scholars, academics, professionals and practitioners by making it freely available worldwide. The journal addresses emerging issues and developments across domestic and international business.
Submissions are welcome in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- Finance, accounting, auditing and cost and management accounting
- Financial psychology and financial literacy
- Marketing and consumer behavior
- Information management and knowledge management
- Innovation, change management and enterprise management
- E-commerce and information systems
Peer review process
Every submission is first screened in-house by the editors for relevance, scope, quality and originality, including a similarity check. Manuscripts that pass this screening are sent to experienced external reviewers in the relevant field.
All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review: reviewers are not told who the authors are, and authors are not told who reviewed their work. We aim to return a decision within 8 to 10 weeks of submission, and to publish accepted manuscripts within 12 to 14 weeks.
Before submitting, please read the author guidelines and our publication ethics.
Publication frequency
IMBR publishes four issues each year.
Open access policy
IMBR provides immediate open access to all of its content, on the principle that making research freely available supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to the full text of any article, and may crawl it for indexing or pass it to software as data, for any lawful purpose.
Licensing
Articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. Anyone may share and adapt the work, for any purpose including commercially, provided the original authors and source are credited.
Archiving
This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archive among participating libraries, allowing those libraries to hold permanent copies of the journal for preservation and restoration.
