Publication Fees

Journal of Economics and Behavioral Studies (JEBS) is open access: everything it publishes is free to read, and there is no charge to any reader or institution. The cost of publishing is met by a single fee, paid by authors only once an article has been accepted.

What it costs

There is no submission fee. Sending a manuscript to JEBS costs nothing, and nothing is owed while it is under review.

The article publication fee is USD 100. It falls due only if a manuscript is accepted, and covers editing, typesetting, hosting and the registration of a DOI.

If you cannot pay

Authors without funds available to meet the charge, particularly those working in developing countries, may apply for a partial waiver. Write to the editorial office when your article is accepted and say what you are able to contribute.

Ability to pay is never a factor in editorial decisions. Whether an article is accepted is settled on peer review alone, and the editors handling that decision are not told who has asked for a waiver.
